Authentic Hadith Dua
Arabic
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لاَ أَعْلَمُ
Transliteration
Allahumma innee a'udhu bika an ushrika bika wa ana a'lam, wa astaghfiruka lima la a'lam
Translation
O Allah, I seek refuge in You lest I associate anything with You while I know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do not know.
Context
Taught by the Prophet (ﷺ) to cleanse the heart of hidden vanity, showing off (Riya'), and spiritual complacency.
